We are delighted to share news with you that following over one year’s painstaking search for a suitable location to build our planned Spiritual Care Centre in Germany, we have finally found the perfect place and acquired the land.

Situated approximately 70km south east of Berlin, in the old spa-town of Bad Saarow, the land adjoins the largest lake in the region, the Scharmützelsee, with beautiful views across the waters. Apart from the natural beauty of its lake-side location, what convinced us that this would be an ideal site for the spiritual care centre was the sense of peace and positive, uplifting energy we all felt there. Furthermore, Bad Saarow has excellent transport connections to Berlin and a well developed infrastructure of local medical services.

The plot of land covers an area of approximately 8,000 square meters, which is an ample size for our project. A large, disused property already stands on the site and will first need to be demolished and cleared before future works can begin.

In January, we plan to interview and select architects who we will work with in designing the spiritual care centre. In the intervening period, we will continue to refine our concept of the project and prepare a design brief.

The land has been purchased by the recently formed Tertön Sogyal Foundation in Germany, which is currently responsible for the project.
