Despite extraordinary technological achievements in science and medicine, we are still ill at ease with the realities of death and dying. Is there a more positive way to view dying? How can we find hope amidst uncertainty and change?

Based on Sogyal Rinpoche’s groundbreaking bestseller “The Tibetan Book of Living and Dying”, this presentation offers essential tools to help us find the courage and wisdom to live and die fearlessly, and to accompany others on their journey.  If we take the reality of death to heart, we will discover that it can be an extraordinary opportunity for spiritual growth, transformation and true freedom, and can become a source of strength and love we never would have expected or realized.

This evening is particularly relevant to health professionals, volunteers, and anyone who cares for family members or friends.
