Integrating Meditation in Care

7-week professional on-line training for professionals working in healthcare, social and human services, education and trained volunteers

What patients and clients really want is to feel truly heard and cared for by those who care for them. Cultivating Compassionate Presence is a new on-line course that teaches professionals exactly this. Inspired by The Tibetan Book of Living and Dying, participants learn how to integrate the practices of mindfulness, meditation and Loving-kindness and other contemplative tools to foster a greater sense of awareness and well-being, prevent burnout and enhance professional skills and competencies.

Recent research shows on-going contemplative practice can improve attention and memory, increase compassionate responses, reduce stress, increase confidence in challenging situations and renew enthusiasm.
