Situated on the wild and beautiful Beara Peninsula in West
Cork, Ireland, Dzogchen Beara sits high up on cliffs overlooking
the Atlantic Ocean, with breathtaking views of sea and sky. The
vast open spaces, tranquillity, and seclusion provide an ideal
environment for quiet reflection and inner transformation.
In addition to Spiritual Care courses and seminars, Dzogchen Beara
offers weekend courses on various aspects of Tibetan Buddhism such
as meditation, compassion, as well as longer retreats led by
Sogyal Rinpoche
and other Tibetan masters. While many of the Center's programs are
oriented toward Tibetan Buddhism, it welcomes visitors of all
denominations and none.
Dzogchen Beara is the perfect base from which to explore the
wild and natural beauty of the Beara Peninsula--a haven for
artists, folklore enthusiasts, walkers, and birdwatchers. The
Center is open year round. On-site accommodation is available in
self-catering cottages, or in the Farmhouse Hostel.
