Candles

Understanding and transforming suffering

To offer the most effective and compassionate care for the dying, to truly understand their experiences, difficulties and needs, and to help them prepare meaningfully for death, we need to overcome our own hesitation and do the same, preparing for our own death.

Loving couple

Making a connection, healing relationships and letting go

Maintaining meaningful relationships and completing unfinished business is crucial for those nearing the end of life.As caregivers we need tools that enable us to navigate our own present or future life situations with greater awareness, compassion and skill, so that we can authentically do the same for others.

Hands in prayer

Preparing spiritually for death

The most valuable asset we can offer others facing death, loss or bereavement is the confidence we will embody once we have prepared spiritually for our own death. The confidence gained through our own spiritual commitment allows us to truly be present with others and to assist them in engaging with their own spiritual inspiration.

Stones

Finding meaning in life

What is important at the end of life is not our grand or impressive actions, but rather the awareness and compassion we bring to the most simple acts of daily life.Through self-discovery and self-acceptance we learn to uncover the meaning in our own lives, and learn tools for authentic dialogue with the dying, supporting them in rediscovering the meaning in their lives.
