The core faculty is comprised of Senior Educators from Rigpa's Spiritual Care Education Program. They bring to their work decades of experience in providing training and education in contemplative care for hospitals, nursing homes and hospices. The core faculty will be joined by prominent guest speakers in the fields of spirituality and end-of-life care.

Annie Eichenholz Annie Eichenholz, RN, hospice nurse, senior Rigpa Spiritual Care Program educator, certified End-of-Life Nursing Education Consortium (ELNEC) educator.


Pamela Russell Pamela Russell, MSW, hospice and palliative care social worker, Rigpa Spiritual Care Program educator, meditation instructor.


Dr. James Duffy James Duffy MD, FANPA, president, Institute for Religion and Health,Texas Medical Center, head of palliative medicine, Methodist Hospital in Houston. Board Certified in psychiatry and palliative medicine.


Ann Allegre Ann Allegre, MD, FACP, director of medical programs, Kansas City Hospice, medical director of palliative care, Providence Health, professor of medicine, University of Kansas School of Medicine.
